Web Server

I am looking for recommendations on different options for our web server needs. We are concerned about fault tolerance and load distribution. We are also considering the benefits of Co-Location. Any ideas of what have worked well would be greatlyappreciated. Also designs that have not well. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
