Hi there.
I need to set up a web server on my internal network to be used by internal, and external clients.
I can get access to the web server fine, but when linking to resources from other external web servers (ie, pictures and audio), I get a red cross instead of the picture, but only when accessing it from the internal network. It all works fine externally to my network.
I have done a bit of reading, but cannot find much info for this situation. I need the web site displayed exactly the same from the internal and external clients.
Is the only way to set up a DNS server on the internal network, and point www.mydomain.com to the local address??
Also, I believe this would only work if links were to the domain, and not the WAN address of the server.
Is there a solution? If so, could somebody please point me to a site that explains how it is done?
Many thanks
