Website Capacity Planning Guidelines

Hi,
Are there any sources for capacity planning guidelines in developing a website – bandwidth needed, hardware configuration, network load, etc.,?
My client is having an Sun solaris 7 OS and iplanet 4 webserver. For the production environment what configuration set-up is required is what I am looking for.
Any help would be apprecitated.
