What are licensing issues w.r.t Microsoft Vs Sun technology

I am in a group which is thinking on freezing a technology for a small web based project which has some database dependency.

I would like to know what are licensing issues with respect to use of web server, app server, database server for the project.

Microsoft : (development and deployment)
.NET
Visual Studio
IIS
SQL Server 2000

Sun + Open Source : (development and deployment)
JSP
Eclipse/Netbeans
Tomcat
JBoss
MySQL
