What are some common software testing techniques used in the industry?

Hey folks!

I am working as a software engineer in a company and I know how software testing has become such an important part in software development. After going through so many blogs on the internet, I got to know that new techniques are coming every now and then. So, to increase more of my knowledge, I would like to know some new software testing methods that I might be missing.
