What does dual input stand for?

My company just bought another server and we are wondering if it is possible to run two servers off of one monitor? I did some looking on the internet and I found a monitor that said something about dual input. Is that what I am looking for. Whatdoes dual input mean. Is it possible at all to hook one monitor to two servers and be able to use it properly and effeciently?
