What is anyone using for a spare parts inventory database?

I would like to find a solution such as a access DB for spare parts inventory for server, desktop, laptop and printer parts. I am not very good with Access or i would make one. If anyone has a solution for me, or could suggest some decent software for this, please let me know.
I am not looking to inventory current pc’s on the wire, just spare parts.
I didnt care for the one off the MS Office site “Inventory Management ”
