What is faster Virtual PC 2007 or VMWare Workstation 6.0?

I’m the only Vista machine in my environment. I’m running XP in VPC 2007 right now but it takes literally 30 minites to an hour to login to the XP VM as a new user if I want o test a users settings.

Is it because of the VM software I’m using? Would VMWare be faster all around, or is there other virtualization software available?

I’m using VPC as a business tool but at this point it would be easier to pull out another laptop and login on that one as a different user.

If this is a limitation of the software then I guess i have to deal but I can’t believe thats the case since there are companies that are using the server version of the software to run their business (aka Siemens).
