What is the difference between RIPv2 and EIGRP ?

What is the difference between Routing Information Protocol version2 (RIPv2) and Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP)? I need to know the major difference in terms of configuring them on devices, such as routers. Thanks in advance.
