Alright folks, I would like to ask people that have experience with this. I have over 2 years of experience with your general Windows and application help desk and a 4 year college degree for MIS and am thinking of going for a Master’s Degree since the economy stinks so hard that I cannot find a job in Chicago.
Is this degree a good idea for me?

I am basically wondering if it is valuable and what kind of jobs would it allow me to acquire or at least apply for after I complete the degree. Could I be a network admin even though I don’t have any formal experience being a network admin? Would it get me MORE than that job like say Network Engineer or Network Security? How much would I make having this MS degree and no actual networking job experience?
