Where to start?

I am currently an internet computer technician. My brain revolves around the Internet everyday. I am only 16 and someday would like to be a computer technician in the following areas:
Internet Connection
Network Design/Management
Software Troubleshooting
Hardware Troubleshooting
I have decided that I can not tackel all of these areas at one time. I would like information on how to get started with Network Design/Management. I will award 500 points to anyone who can give me information on how to get started with Network Design/Management and 200 extra points to anyone who can give me information on the other areas besides Internet Connection. Your help is greatly appreciated.
