Which career is best in IT?

I just received a Business Administration Associates degree and am planning to go onto receive a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in CIS. I am currently planning to attend [online] at Thomas Edison in New Jersey. I understand that I may need to supplement the business degree with certifications. I do have a networking management background, but no certifications [well, except for a Microsoft Certified Professional, but that’s all.] Any suggestions as to which path to pursue? The faster I can get working, the better. (I’ve been laid off for 13 months.) Thanks, Maryann
