I have been checking out routers for a couple of days now and everyone I look at has bad reviews.
What I want to accomplish:
I want to set up the router so that the internet connects to it through a static IP and from there the router connects to an anti-spam server and also to our small business server 2003 which then goes to the HP switch we currently have.
I need full incoming VPN capabilities for a minimum of 5 users (preferably 10 as we plan to grow.)
Ideally I would also like wireless N.
I was looking at Cisco until I discovered they require a contract before you can even download updates or get some documentation on the equipment you bought!
Linksys has been bought by Cisco and has extremely poor support.
Many people say to avoid Belkin because of quality issues.
Who’s left? Is there a router company that’s the best? And which products should I be looking at?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
