Why is it that the Innocent people are targeted?

My question is when there are factions in the Higher level management why are the innocent ones who are working on THEIR OWN AND ON A PROJECT DEDICATED targeted?
Just firing someone just like that? They do have families.

In the article it is mentioned that it should be explained that someone is acting in a role when someone is absent? I am sure the organisations having Qualified people should understand that not just take that, the position for him or her is becoming insecured leading to Back stabbing, gossips and jealousy.

WHY? IS THIS WHAT IS TAUGHT IN SCHOOLS, THE ONES THAT ARE REPUTED, B-SCHOOLS AND ENGINEERING SCHOOLS?
