Why no share option in drop down menu

I cannot get a sharing option on some mobile NT computers (Field Works) when I right click a drive. Server service will not run properly it seems and other things are normal otherwise. But there is simply no option to share under admin or any logon. These are NT 4.0 workstations, service pack 5.
