The ideology of the “left” makes more sense than the crap that is passed from the “right.” We on the left are for the little man, while those on the right want the rich to stay richer and have the poor stay under the arm of the rich. This isn’t class warfare, this is common sense: the rich need to pay more in taxes, you know contribute more of their money like the rest of us; thereby empowering the entitlements we all love and don’t want to lose. To the right I ask: why bite the hand that feeds you?
We are more sympathetic and tolerant. I could care less if two men want to marry each other. I don’t want to marry either one of them so why do I care what they do? Sure, if a man asked me to marry him I would say no and if he persisted in asking me and was flirting with me, I would be upset, but if a man is showing affection toward another man who receives it, what is that to me? Let homosexuals marry.
Also, the white man has had his day long enough. Those of different color are held down and should be given more opportunity (I should know, being of different *color*) than they are now (I thought we were living in the 21st century…racism is so last century).
If a woman wants to abort, then let her. Like Peter Singer said, “newborns lack the essential characteristics of personhood???”rationality, autonomy, and self-consciousness”???and therefore “killing a newborn baby is never equivalent to killing a person, that is, a being who wants to go on living.”
