Wi-Fi on steroids vs Wiress IP Local Loop (WipLL)?

Our company is planning to upgrade to Wireless broadband technology. So far, two service providers presented their proposals with two different technologies, Wireless IP Local Loop or WipLL (which is based on MMDS) vs outdoor Wi-Fi (which is based on 802.11 technology). In your opinion, which technology is superior over the other?
