will not boot up, continue beeps.

I had a boot up floppy dish in the PC by misstake, the PC started to Up date from the floppy dish; I hit the resit button to stop the PC from updating from the floppy dish. Now the PC will not boot up. Just coninue ringing. The Pc is XP, the foppy dish was for 98 windows.
