Win 2003 Server network connection

by eliaphil . Updated 17 years, 9 months ago

Hi, I have tried setting up a 2003 server using 2 nics, 1 for Lan the other for Wan but having issues. At present the 1st nic has address 10.1.1.2,gateway 10.1.1.1, Subnet 255.255.255.0 and the 2nd nic i have set to 10.1.2.2, gateway 10.1.2.1, subnet 255.255.255.0 with both nics plugged into netgear switch. The dlink router is then connected to the negear switch giving access to the net. I have a wotkstation with the nic set to address 10.1.2.3,Gateway 10.1.2.1, subnet 255.255.255.0. With this config workstation to server access OK but no internet. Am I missing something here to allow this machine access to both network and internet.

Phil
