WIN 2K REBOOTS

I have just set up a new amd xp 1700 system. During install of win2k all is ok. But when It finishes install and reboots it keeps rebooting. I tried loading win xp on it and it works ok. But with fresh load of w2k it keeps rebooting.. it also has 256 meg memory. thanks
