Win 95 setup without Floppies

by doc logic . Updated 25 years, 9 months ago

I’ve been cleaning out my old computer to give to my sister. The system won’t boot except to DOS prompt (must have deleted the wrong thing). Normally I’d just run SETUP again, but when I do it asks for the floppy in A:. I’ve been Add/Removeing components using CAB’s on C: for years, and all the .CAB and etc are on the hard drive in C:\Win95, but all the floppies are in storage 350 miles away.
Does anyone know how to get SETUP to NOT ask for floppies, or how to rebuild the registry from DOS (I think its looking for un-needed non-system DLL’s I deleted when I removed software my sister doesn’t need)
