Win 95 with networked drives

I look after a small network that has a server with NT 4 SBS and one of the clients is running Win 95. There are 3 mapped drives. The problem is when the mapped drives are connected the Win 95 system will not shut down. When i manually disconnect these drives the system will shut down as normal. Does anyone know a fix for this problem so i dont have to teach the user how to manually disconnect these drives when they want to shut down.
