Win NT/Win 2000 Profiles

I have been having a lot of problems lately with Profiles within Windows 2000 professional, roaming and local, and it is driving me crazy. I am wondering if having Windows Nt 4.0 server (PDC) has anything to do with difficulty of setting up Windows 2000 profiles for users.

Does anyone know where I can Find a Very nice Web site that explains Profiles, and gets to the bottom with all the common problems, mistakes, questions and other issues? I am preferably looking for a Non-Microsoft web site that discusses profiles of NT and 2000. I am sick and tired of getting profile error messages when setting up new users.
