win2k “access denied” media pool…

by mike . Updated 25 years, 7 months ago

How do I get around the access denied error? I am getting this error while adding a user to the removable media/media pool/free. I am using the administrator account. I removed all users in the free media pool in hopes of repairing another error I was getting in the ntbackup utility. (account does not have permission to access removable media – which was again the administraor account) If I check the security tab in removable media, I can find administrator account with user/mod/control. I think that I have file corruption. I would like to know how to reinstall removable media and ntbackup. I cant find an option in windows to remove and then add … so I assume that it would have to be done the hard way! Does any have any ideas?!?!?
