Win2K NTFS 5 file ecnryption

by crazy russian . Updated 25 years, 6 months ago

Couple of month ago I was experimenting with encryption option in NTFS5 (Win2K Adv Srv) file systems, to see how it works. Resently I decidet to explore Win2K Server, so, I backed up all my personal files and reloaded Win2K, installing just server. After I rstored all my personal files, I found out that I encrypted the whole “My Documents” folder. So, now I have about 5 yars of my life in files that I can read. I looked some info on Microsofts site, and, of course, they say there is no way to recover it because I didnt backup private key to decrypt it. Does anybody knows where I can lookup some info on possibilities to decrypt it, or some services that will do that for me? Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks
