WIN2k Servers

I have a WIN 2k server running active directory that is the domain controller. I have a second win 2k server that I want to join the domain as a domain controller also. When I try to have the second server join, it gives me an error message that the”network path can’t be found”. I have searched the micorsoft web site and tried all the fixes they have suggest to no avail. I can ping each server from the other server by IP address and computer name. I can ping the default gateway from each server and can also access the internet from each. Any sugguestions?
