Win2K Shutdown Problem

by dwayne.sealy . Updated 25 years, 7 months ago

I am running Win2K Pro on an IBM ThinkPad 770Z PII/366 with 128MB RAM etc, etc, my problem is that whenever I shut down Win2K (whether it is a shut down or restart) the system goes to a blank screen and stays there. Pressing the power button does nothing, so I have to resort to removing the battery and power supply.

I suspect that it is McAfee VirusScan 4.03 which has been given the OK to run on Win2K (subject to correction).

Any ideas??
