Win2k3 Printer Management Puzzler

Hey all,

I’m having some serious issues trying to add, manage and deploy two networked printers on our new Win2k3 server.

The printers are a Brother MFC-6800 and HP Deskjet 6122. They both are connected locally to a workstation, and shared with permissions set to EVERYONE=FULL.

I can find the printers on the server, and add them on the server, but I have problems when I try to add them to the print server.

Whenever I add the printers manually to the print server, the drivers show up but the printers do not.

If I circumvent the print server and simply try to deploy the printers via GPO and PushPrinterConnections.exe, nothing shows up on my workstations.

Anyone have any ideas on this?
