Win2K3 Server invisible on network after starting RRAS

I started Remote Access on my Win 2003 server, and it has made the server invisible on the network. I disabled RRAS but it has not fixed the problem – the server sees only itself on the local network, and none of the workstations in the workgroup can see the server.

I have found several instances of this question being asked but no truly helpful replies. I don’t care about successfully setting up RRAS at this time; I simply want to get my original settings back so that the server is again visible and functioning.

I am moderately experienced but this problem has sailed into deeper waters than I know. I would appreciate a walkthrough for restoring my network, sharing, AD etc. settings to what they were before RRAS erased them.
