I have a 6 yr old PC running Win95. It’s a Pentium 100 with 32 MB RAM. It suddenly stopped loading. The Boot process goes thru the inital text display, checks the A:\ drive then goes to the C:\ drive and hangs. If I use a win95 or win98 (with CD support) floppy boot disk the PC reads the A:\ disk, displays a message Loading Win95 or 98 then hangs.
I have put in other HDDrives under the 8GB limit I am told is the max it can take. No difference. I can’t load any floppy boot disk – it always hangs?
Could it be the BIOS battery, a motherboard fault or the hard drive?
HELP please
Thanks
Bruce
