WIN98SE Max SRAM?

How much SRAM can WIN98SE handle? I’m trying to upgrade me Graphics card from a VOODOO 3 card AGP to a LEADTEK Titanium TH card but after an OK install the reboot failed. LEADTEK tells me my AMD 1GHz cpu with 1GB of 100MHz SRAM won’t work with a TRUE AGP GEFORCE Graphics card like the LEADTEK Ti TH. I use photo editing software that uses large Bit Map files and storing them in SRAM is 10x faster than swaping in/out a harddrive. LEADTEK tells me WIN98SE won’t work with more than 512MB of SRAM. I’ve been using 1GB of SRAM for a year with no problems. Do I buy another Graphics Card or sacrifice 512MB of SRAM?
