Win98SE Screen Pwd….Esc. key Bypasses

When my system boots up, and windows begins, near the end of my GUI loading up, it prompts me for the password [as it should]. After I enter it I am granted access, and I get to my GUI [Great!]. Unfortunetely, I can also get to the GUI by hitting the Escape key though[I see this as an absolute security vulnerabillity!]. Can this be fixed? and how?
