Window Media Services and Archiving

by wpolakoff . Updated 17 years, 3 months ago

I am pretty new to Media Services but I have most of what I need figured out. I have a “template” publishing point setup to archive and I have Windows Encoder creating a new publshing point using the “template” for its settings. This works great I can have the live show and then the archive is created and stored on the server. The only problem is I want the live show archive file to automatically be availible as soon as the live show stops encoding.

Right now after encoding the publish point stops and is no longer avialible in Windows Media Player. I have to manually change the publish point and point it to the archive file. Is there a way to do this part automatically?
