Windows 10 Pro factory reset laptop not recognising backup on external hard

I had issues with my laptop so while under warranty I sent it in for a repair and backed up it to an empty external hard drive using the ‘back up now’ on the pc.

The external hard drive is showing the backup but when I go to ‘Restore my files’ > Restore Files (Advanced) > ‘Select the backup that you want to restore files from’ it does not show the backup. I tried doing a new backup of the empty pc and it shows that copy.

My theory is that I didn’t have Windows 10 Pro, just Windows 10 on it as it looks a little different (first noticeable thing is the massive battery charging logo at bottom of screen).

Does anyone have any idea how to get my pc to recognise the backup?
