Windows 2000 Advanced Server

Ii have 2 w2k adv servers that see each other all day but at night they sometimes they see each other and sometimes they don’t. This only happens at night and the only thing different I do at night is backups with backupexec (7), so I stopped backups for a couple of nights and still have the same problem.
