windows 2000 and forgot password

I need serious help here, A co-worker left and took the administrators password with them. I really don’t want to have to reformat everything, Is there any little trick that might help me out?
I know I’m asking for a big trick but, we all know theoutcome if I can’t get into it. Hours of work and that’s not the short of it.
