Windows 2000 install error

I have a Pentium II 350 with 256 MB of memory that I am installing Windows 2000 server on as a test machine. The install goes great and then the machine restarts. As it goes through the restart the lights come up on the keyboard showing that the num lock is on then the lights go off and the keyboard is no longer being recognized. I can’t log in because I can’t press control alt delete. I have tried three keyboards and they are not the problem. I think 2000 is installing something else on the keyboard port but I can’t get in to fix it. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks
