Windows 2000 Internet DNS server

I need some help getting a Windows 2000 DNS server set up. This isn’t to be used on a LAN/Active Directory — this is a real live Internet DNS server on a non-AD Win2K server.

I’ve set up DNS on smaller LAN’s before & it seems pretty straightforward but how do I get those records propogated out to the rest of the Internet? My #1 priority here is being able to add/modify host records and get them dynamically updated through the whole WWW as quickly as possible. What do I do? Set up forwarders? How does this work?
