Windows 2000 Pro Connectivity problem

I have a connectivity problem with one laptop in which windows2000 professional is installed. I can able to ping to all the pcs in the LAN and also able to ping the gateway.
But the thing is when i am running the ip address of a PC in the Run command it is giving the following error message.
THe (PCs ipaddress) is not accessible. There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request.
Can you please help me to solve the problem.
