I have installed W2K on my HP LC 3 Netserver 3 times now and all with the same end result. The Windows clock slows down. When I reboot, the system clock is correct, then I start “using and losing”. I begin to run applications and “time stands still”. The Windows clock starts losing time. I tried changing the display refresh from 60 to 75 and I thought it made a difference but it did not. I have stopped the Windows Time service as well as most all other services.
The mouse starts to drag and the windows open very slowly. All the programs seem to work. Windows and TCP/IP Networking are functional, it is just that this system and its clock progressively grow slower as time trudges by.
