Windows 2000: Windows Explorer Refresh

When I delete or paste a folder or file into an open window in Explorer the window does not refresh automatically. I have to do it manually by pressing F5 or View:Refresh.

I can’t figure out how to change the setting so that the window automatically refreshes. Can anyone help.
