Windows 2003 and Cisco Softphone

Does anyone know if Cisco Softphone can be used on a Windows 2003 server.

I have a laptop that I have Windows 2003 server installe on, and I have installed the Cisco Softphone, but everytime I try to open it does nothing.

I have tried changing the compatability to xp and 2000 but that doesn’t help.
