Windows 2003 Domain Rename

Hello
We have done a Domain Rename, in windows 2003. after the rename we found that the DNS name is still holds the old name and due to that we cannot join any computers to domain as well many existing computers cannot connect or login to the domain.

could anyone suggest how i can rename the DNS or resolve the above problem.

Any solutions will be highly appriciated
