windows 2003 dual nics

Hi,
I’m trying to figure out if I can configure my servers to “talk” to each other through one nic and have them “talk” to workstation on another?

I’d like to install a small gigabyte switch and connect my servers to each other though it, and have all client communication go through my main switch on a separate nic.

any ideas,

I’m trying to isolate backup and file replication from my main switch.
