Windows 2003 R2 server not getting authority to files

I have recently added a new Windows 2003 R2 Server to my network. I joined it to the domain but when I log onto it as an administrator of the domain, I cannot access files on other servers. Using the same Userid and password, I can access any files on any server from any other server or workstation. I can access files on the new server from other servers/workstations. Any ideas on what is blocking me from accessing files from this server?
