I have a Windows 2003 file server with tons of files and folders that are used throughout my company on a day to day basis. These files and folders contain numerous amounts of user access permissions settings. I am looking for a method to document every file and folder on my file server with tables that show the user permissions for each. I know I could sit here and type all of this into an excel spreadsheet and spend half of my life doing it, however, I would imagine there is a piece of software out there that could do this for me and provide me with the ability to print out nice reports. Can anyone give me some help on this?
