Windows 2003 server file ownership

On W2K2 I had fileowners.pl installed and was able to ‘learn’ / gather info about who owned files. Data has not migrated to Windows 2003 server. Could I install the fileowners.pl from the utilities disk for the W2K2 and use it the same way??
