Hi,
I have been assigned the task of updating one of my companies Windows servers.
The version of Windows currently on the server is 2003 server standard edition 32 bit with Service Pack2 applied. I want to upgrade to 2003 server standard edition 32 bit SR2,
so basically all i want to do is install SR2.
Problem is i can’t seem to find the 2003 server standard edition disk 1 and
the disk 2 dates back to Feb06.
I do have a copy of a version of windows 2003 standard 32bt but it is only on 1 disk on the network but when i run setup i am offered the option to install. I was basically expecting to place disk 1 in the drive and have the option to upgrade. The last thing i want to do is overwrite a perfectly good working server.
Can someone please explain how i can update Windows 2003 server standard edition to the SR2 verion i require?
