Windows 8 or 10? and what configeration are best?

Which will be the best configeration for a system that i want for office use only. Currently i am using an outdated windows 7 system with 4 GB ram and o3 6th gen intel processor.
I use the system only for emailing and using some small softwares such as designing unique products for my employer relating to my business. I am a manufacturer of Aluminium plates used in major industries.
I need a latest and updated system that can be used fast with Photoshop and other Adobe apps without interuptions.
