Windows 98 & Dialing Progress Dialog Box

All of a sudden, the “Dialing Progress” dialog box has started popping up at random interval, without being requested. It will show up as I work in MS Word, as I shutdown the computer…etc.

Computer is 233Mhz Pentium II, networked through Microsoft Networking, with both Netscape 4.7 and Internet Explorer 4.0 loaded on the system

Any idea or suggestion?
